MINDPARK CONFERENCE 2019

Reshape Consumption - The Engine of Future Business

With the development of digital technology and the changes of the population, the consumer market has been reformed structurally. New consumption forces thus have come into being, giving birth to new business models and serving as a powerful driving force of the pluralistic creative economy. If creativity drives the industries including environment, education, art, culture and technology to break the boundaries, what would happen to consumption and business and how will these changes boost future business? Furthermore, what roles shall we play to jointly shape the future of the consumer market pattern and seize more business opportunities?

MINDPARK 2019, together with creative people, managers, and different individuals from all over the world, will focus on future consumption from various perspectives from public consumption, product market, brand business to community culture. We will jointly discuss the future consumer ecosystem and explore the key of future Chinese business market.

Public Design

Different from traditional constructions, public design focuses on the creation and operation of a high-quality urban space and its spiritual culture, which drives the evolvement of the business environment. Based on toady’s context, through the diverse public design research, we will re-understand, excavate, and explore the theme that how public design brings hidden, sustainable and future-oriented values?

Children’s Art Education

As much attention has been paid to creativity, the educational model and its impact are widely discussed. With the joint efforts of the authorities, public organizations, and technical talents, various innovative aesthetic education and its products have come into being, refreshing people's awareness of traditional aesthetic education. According to today’s condition, we will analyze how aesthetic education gradually come into public vision and how children’s aesthetic education has become a new consumption and social trend?

Brand New

Consumption no longer serves as an act to satisfy people’s needs, but a kind of personal statement and expression. With the rise of a new generation of consumers, this view has increasingly challenged and changed traditional consumer behaviour, market formats and competitive mechanisms. As the world developing and changing so fast, how should brands cater to new consumers and new consumer behaviours, as well as talk to a new generation of consumers in new ideas?

Digital Content

As technology is no longer limited to efficiency and cost, digital content has become an important player in the consumer market. Digital technology liberates our eyes from a one-way visual system in various ways, while shaping a more stereoscopic, multi-sensory expression and applying more diversely to commercial practice. In the future, what role will digital content play in the market? Will it lead the way in future consumption?

Experimental Scenario

While online shopping becomes the norm of consumption, offline scenes have become an important part to attract consumers. The scene no longer serves solely for the product, but becomes the product itself, serving as a broader extension of the product form. Analyzing different consumer scenes, we will find out the core elements that make up innovative scene to transform and create consumer currencies that cannot be ignored by our emotions, memories, and experiences.

Driven by Design

How can designers use strategic thinking, internalizing design as part of the value of the product, which will affect the renewal of business models? We will dig deeper into the essence, methods, and skills of design, and find out how to make design itself the core driving force for sustainable brand growth?
